TMS Software, LLC, developed this app for the Claris Community. It is a FileMaker solution that finds the sales tax rates for address in the United States using the Avalara API. You will need to register and create an account with Avalara.

Avalara is a tax services company that has made a free API for determining sales tax rates by address. While the sales tax rates API results are free, they do so to upsell their tax services. After registration, expect to have a follow up call from a sales person about their other services.
